The Delta State Executive Council has approved ₦4 billion to empower 15,000 indigent residents across the 25 local government areas.
The programme aims to support small business owners, aspiring entrepreneurs and vulnerable residents in need of financial assistance under the state’s MORE Agenda.
According to the Delta State Government, the initiative will be implemented through the Delta State Social Investment Programme, with rollout expected in the coming weeks.
Beneficiaries will be selected based on established eligibility criteria, with the programme targeting residents who already operate small businesses, individuals seeking to establish micro-enterprises and vulnerable people requiring financial support.
