God replaced the loss of a twin with quadruplet for a family in Nigeria, leading to outpouring of emotions.
A family has welcomed a set of quadruplets 18 months after losing a set of twins.
The mother, in a social media video, shows the moment her only daughter realised the family has four new babies in the hospital.
The pre-teen daughter, according to the mother, had given up on having siblings after the loss of the twins only for God to compensate the family with four girls at a go.
In the video, the daughter is seen in utter tears of joy as she meets the newly born before sharing a warm hug with their mother as relations also teared up.
The mother wrote on the video: "We lost two in March last year; God gave us four this year. I told her I was going to a party, not to the hospital, so it came as a surprise to her. She had waited for years to have siblings.
‘’Last year, I gave birth to twins, but they d!ed. She lost her twin siblings and thought she would never have any siblings again, that she would be an only child"
