A foreign groom has spared no cost to marry his Ibibio lover in an elegant wedding ceremony that is gaining attention on social media.
In video slips seen by Naijagoodnews.com, the groom is seen with the full compliment of his family from an Asian country who excitedly danced to traditional music at the ceremony.
When an Ibibio teased him on the audacity he had to think he could just come over to pick a bride, his family spokesman responded they had already contributed 100 cows, 50 goats and 200 chickens.
He then asked ‘’what more do you want?’’ sending the hall into a frenzy.
The items, simply symbolic, only show the extensive feast associated with marriages in Nigeria. They are not considered trade-off but symbolic expression of love and interest.
