VIDEO: Hear what Dangote said about Ooni in Kenya

Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote has described the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi (Ojaja 2) as ‘’the most highly respected traditional ruler from Nigeria.’’

The Ooni is considered the most prominent Yoruba traditional ruler with his kingdom mainly in Ife, Osun State.

He introduced the monarch during the ground breaking ceremony of the Dangote East Africa refinery in Lamu, Kenya on September 30.

Dangote, while observing protocol shortly before his speech to the star-studded dignitaries, asked the Ooni to stand for recognition, describing him as the most highly respected traditional ruler from Nigeria.

The Ooni, who was seated beside the Ondo Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa, stood and waved to the audience, which responded with massive claps.
