The cash for raincoat and a hoodie to cope with cold on the streets of Lagos reinforce the caring and lovely nature of Nigerians.
A dramatic scene of pure love has been captured on the streets of Lagos between a passenger and an Okada rider.
The situation led the passenger to give the Okada rider an unexpected cash gift to get a raincoat after giving him a hoodie minutes after drop-off.
In a video shared on X by @Cleverlydey4u, the Okada rider is captured shaking on a wet day in Lagos.
The unidentified female passenger, who asked him to wait outside the gate, is seen handing over a red hoodie after he claimed he couldn’t afford one to stave off the cold.
Speaking in Pidgin, the passenger asked if the rider liked it. He smiled and said he did before he put on the hoodie.
She also gave him cash to get himself a raincoat, reinforcing how lovely and helpful Nigerians can be.
