130 Ogun residents receive free surgeries, treatment

Admin

More than 130 eye sights have been restored at the ongoing Gateway Front Foundation (GFF) @25 Free Medical Outreach.

The humanitarian initiative, organised to mark the 25th anniversary of GFF, attracted medical professionals from the United States to Redeemer’s Health Village, Mowe where they are performing eye surgeries, gynecological procedures, orthopedic interventions as well as major and minor surgeries.

The programme, organised in partnership with Sharing Hope Medical Mission (USA), Sharing Hope and Care Foundation, and Redeemer’s Health Village, also provides free consultations, medications and other essential medical services.

Beyond the surgeries at Redeemer’s Health Village, the medical outreach has taken routine healthcare services closer to communities through designated centres in participating local government areas.

This decentralised approach is designed to make treatment more accessible, reduce overcrowding and enable more residents to benefit from the anniversary initiative.

The collaboration with international medical professionals also highlights the importance of partnerships in expanding access to specialist care.

By bringing together medical expertise, facilities and philanthropic support, the initiative is addressing a range of healthcare needs while offering relief to families facing the high cost of treatment.
