Falcons captain Ajibade sings praises after surgery
Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade is in high spirits after successfully undergoing surgery.
The PSG winger suffered a fractured fibula injury during Nigeria’s 7-0 victory over Comoros in the second leg of the 2028 Olympic qualifiers.
She was seen in tears as medics helped her out of the stadium after the injury.
Days after undergoing successful surgery, she was seen in a video praising God on the hospital bed.
She sang praises with a female companion, thanking God for the successful procedure.
Mummy GO, as teammates fondly refer to her, is heavy on faith, hosting shows to promote the gospel.
On Saturday, she shared an update on the surgery. The 26-year-old wrote: “Surgery done. Recovery mode on. Thank you all for the love and prayers. Back soon for His greater glory.''
