JAMB forwards 108 underage candidates’ details to universities for admission processing

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has forwarded the details of 108 underage candidates who successfully completed its exceptional admission screening to their chosen institutions for consideration.

The board disclosed this in an update on the screening exercise, stating that the candidates had completed all required stages and met the criteria for consideration.

According to JAMB, the candidates’ Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) profiles have also been activated to allow their admission processing to begin.

However, the board clarified that qualifying for consideration does not guarantee automatic admission, as final decisions remain subject to the admission processes of the respective institutions.
