Mercy Chinwo, husband acquire new home

Gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, have acquired a new home.

Interior decorator Francis Udochukwu, popularly known as Vintage Interiors, shared a video tour of the newly completed property.

The video showed Pastor Blessed taking part in the tour while Mercy appeared briefly clearing avoiding the camera.

The residence, designed by Vintage Luxury Interiors, features a swimming pool, a green wall feature, contemporary artwork, designer lighting, a mini cinema and a covered outdoor patio overlooking a pond.

Vintage Interiors celebrated the project in a caption. He wrote: “Congratulations to my best guys @theofficialblessed & @mercychinwo thank you for believing in Vintage Luxury homes, we deliver premium or nothing only.”

The video generated reactions from social media users, with several Nigerians congratulating the couple on the reported acquisition.

Some also discussed the property in relation to the financial opportunities available in the music industry and gospel ministry.

Mercy and Pastor Blessed married in August 2022 and welcomed their first child, a son, in 2023. They announced the arrival of their second child in August 2025.

Mercy rose to prominence after winning the second season of Nigerian Idol in 2012 before establishing a career in gospel music.

She is known for songs including ‘Excess Love’, ‘Obinasom’ and ‘Na You Dey Reign’.
