Miss Nigeria wins Miss Continental World 2026
Nigerians are painting the pageant sector red with multiple wins in Thailand.
The globe bowed to the most populous nation on earth in far-away Thailand on Friday when Miss Nigeria Iruomachukwu Oma Osele was crowned Miss Continental World 2026.
The Nigerian model and beauty queen became the winner at the pageant’s inaugural edition in Ayutthaya, Thailand.
She also won three more honours at the competition, including Queen of Africa, Best Physique and Best National Costume.
The Queen of Africa title recognised her as the highest-placing African contestant while Best National Costume celebrated her cultural presentation.
Her victory brings international pageant title home to Nigeria until the next edition.
Her compatriot Sambo Unwana Essien finished third runner-up in the Mister Continental World 2026 competition.
He also won the King of Kings and Best National Attire awards.
The multiple wins place Nigeria on the international pageant stage once again.
