Thousands of Nigerians painted the city of New York red during a parade to commemorate the 66th Independence of Nigeria.
The Nigerians had a street parade in an open vehicle arcade while others danced to vibrant Nigerian tunes and songs, wowing passersby with the national colours.
Organisers said the parade was the largest turnout since 2016 as Nigerians showcased the quintessential Nigerian Spirit.
As they danced, New York residents and guests turned heads, mesmerized by the splendour of the most populous black nation on earth.
