Kindness is second nature to many Nigerians, especially when it comes to taking care of the elderly.

Nollywood veteran Peter Fatomilola has spoken on the unexpected benevolence extended to him by skit maker Debo Adedayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni.

Speaking in African A-List, also known as AfricanaList, he said he met Mr Macaroni at a location in Oyo State where he gave him N200,000 while escorting him back to the car.

The N200,000, he said, was a largess considering he was only paid N50,000 for the job.

According to him: ‘’l haven’t recovered from what Mr Macaroni did to me, we both met at a movie location around Oyo state and immediately l was done with my own job on that set and was about leaving, Mr Macaroni called me and he escorted me to my car and he insisted he was going to give me transport fare, l was shocked when Macaroni gave me #200k, l asked him what for and he insisted it was for transport fare.

‘’I was shocked because even the person l came to work for that very day only gave me N50,000 while Mr Macaroni that l never knew l was going to meet at the Location gave me N200,000.’’

Three months after, he said the skit maker invited him for a movie production, which he gladly obliged.

He said: ‘’It was when l got to Mr Macaroni movie location l discovered it just one scene he invited me for and l acted alongside Mr Pete Edochi.

‘’When l was done, he called my son and he gave him N100,000, he called my grandson and he gave him too N50,000. That was when l became suspicious that what’s happening because l was surprised by his kind gesture towards my children.

‘’To my surprise he called me in and l was surprised and shocked when he gave me N1m. l said for what? Because it was just one scene l acted and he told me, Daddy everything is for you. I almost wept, l am so grateful for what Mr Macaroni did to me.’’
