VIDEO: Nigeria home to all Africans, says Ugandan content creator

Popular Ugandan travel and lifestyle content creator Simpo Gladys has declared Nigeria is home to all Africans.

She said Nigerians are welcoming and fun to be with, stating she had thoroughly enjoyed visiting the most populous black nation on earth over and over again.

She wondered why people project negativity about Nigeria, inviting foreigners and tourists to witness the hospitality of Nigerians.

Gladys, who was recently in Nigeria for one month, recalled how she arrived the airport with scammed documents but received support from Nigerian immigration officials who fast-tracked her visa.

She said a male immigration officer also accompanied her to an accommodation because it was late and to protect her as solo female traveller.

Gladys said all Africans must enjoy the warmth and hospitality of Nigerians, asking them to give visiting the West African giants a try.

In a post of social media, she said: ‘’ Nigeria is the home to all Africans. If you are an African, you will feel welcomed in Nigeria. You won’t hear things like ‘which country are you from?’, ‘Go back to your country’. ‘What are you doing in our country?’.  I feel so at home. I feel like I have left my country. ‘’

The content creator, who visited Jos, Plateau State where she met the State Commissioner for Tourism, tasted traditional delicacies like roasted yam and palm wine in Awka, Anambra State, and explored parts of Ebonyi State and Niger State, promised to come back and visit other States.

She stated Africans will find exploring Nigeria fun, urging them to visit Nigeria at least once in their lifetimes.
