VIDEO: Flamingos players celebrate World Cup semi-finals slot

Players and officials of the Flamingos are in ecstasy after edging past Venezuela to grab the semi-finals slot at the ongoing U-17 Women World Cup in Morocco.

The team won a highly-contested match via a penalty kick converted in the 89th minute by skipper Azeezat Oduntan.

The girls will face Brazil on Wednesday by 7pm in a match that will determine one of the finalists at the tournament.

In a video, the players and officials were seen singing praises to God after the hard-fought victory.

They danced vigorously in the dressing room with their make-shift drums shortly after the victory.
