Gospel singer Lilian Nneji hails selfless guitarist

In a touching show of appreciation, ace gospel singer Lilian Nneji has praised her band guitarist, thanking him for years of loyal and selfless service.

Describing the guitarists ‘’as a huge support system for my music and ministry,’’ Nneji stated the instrumentalist has been with her for over 10 unbroken years.

She thanked him for staying put when others left for peanut, praising his commitment and belief in her music ministry as uncommon.

The Omeriwo Mere Mu Gia composer recalled how she resigned from her secular job based on divine instruction and the instrumentalist did the same despite being a fresh university graduate.

According to her, even when he was ridiculed, mocked and judged for the action, he remained resolute, serving the ministry faithfully.

She said after God and her husband, the instrumentalist stood prominent on the many supporters of her music ministry, saying ‘’ my beloved son in whom I am well pleased! My friend, my Gee, my music director, my rehearsal buddy........Whatever this ministry blesses you with, you deserve it and even much more!’’

In a social media post on Friday, the energetic singer wrote: ‘’When God gifted this guy @tfreto_ojay talent and gifts, God had me in mind! He didn't appear to me in the package that I wanted as a very young guy but I saw something spectacular in him  not even knowing that he had prayed to meet me and work with me......and from that moment I drew him closer to me and the work began!

One of the toughest times of my life was when I resigned from my job after 10yrs at the instructions of God and after telling you, You went ahead and resigned from yours too, you had just graduated from the University then because you felt you needed to go wherever I go.........ha! i even begged you not to but you went ahead.........people called you all sort of names, Friends left you......my heart prayed for you but I didn't have any material resources to assure you of what God was capable of doing for us in future.....
