VIDEO: Gift Orban overtakes Osimhen in Turkish’s goal charts

Super Eagles striker Gift Orban has stepped ahead of compatriot Victor Osimhen in the top scorer’s chart in the Turkish Super Lig with a goal and assist at the weekend in Amedspor 5-1 win over Eyüpspor.

The striker scored his team’s second goal after 35 minutes latching on to a through pass to beat the goal keeper before bagging the assist for the third goal on 42 minutes.

He has nine goals and four assists in 10 matches ahead of Osimhen with nine goals and three assists.

Former Flying Eagles striker Ahmed Abdullahi pulled a goal back for the visitors, but it proved to be only a consolation.

The newly promoted Amedspor remain in second place on the table with 23 points from nine matches, two points behind leaders Galatasaray.
