Foundation empowers 10,000 widows, single mothers in Lagos

The Dominion of Zuriel (DOZ) Love Foundation has empowered 10,000 widows and single mothers across Lagos State and beyond as part of its annual empowerment programme.

Lagos Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed this in a post on his X handle.

Wahab, a board member of the foundation, said the initiative, now in its seventh year, provides support for vulnerable women, promotes economic empowerment and restores hope for a better future.

He expressed appreciation to the foundation’s Board Chairman and Chairlady, Bishop Obafemi Lucas and Prophetess Funmilola Lucas of Mountain of Miracles (Ori Oke Iyanu), Ilara-Epe, Lagos, for their unwavering support and commitment to the initiative.

Wahab also acknowledged the traditional rulers who attended the event, led by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ọjájá II.

He reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to empowering women, strengthening families and transforming lives.
