Funke Akindele, Facebook team up for ‘The Four’ cinema release

West Africa’s box office Queen Funke Akindele has announced partnership with Facebook for her forthcoming feature film ‘The Four: No One Fights Alone’.

In a post on her verified Instagram page on Thursday, the Jenifa thespian said the collaboration is aimed at giving the film global visibility.

The award-winning producer said she will release exclusive behind-the-scenes content, premiere looks and firsthand updates on her official Facebook pages.

According to her: “We’re taking THE FOUR to the world, and @Facebook is coming with us!”

“I’m so excited to announce my partnership with Facebook for THE FOUR: NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE! The love you’ve shown me and my stories over the years has brought us this far,” she added.

She urged fans to follow her pages for exclusive updates ahead of the film’s release.

Produced under Funke Akindele Network (FAAN) and distributed by FilmOne Entertainment, ‘The Four’ tells a story of friendship, motherhood and resilience.

The film stars Funke Akindele, Bisola Aiyeola, Chioma Akpotha, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Timini Egbuson, Lateef Adedimeji, Ali Nuhu and singers Waje and Shoday.

The film is slated for cinema release nationwide on December 11, 2026, with pre-sale tickets already on sale.
