Funke Akindele’s ‘The Four’ London premiere sells out

Over three weeks before the D-Day, tickets for the London premiere of filmmaker Funke Akindele’s upcoming film, The Four, has officially sold out.

The film’s distributor, FilmOne Entertainment, confirmed the sell-out on Thursday on its official Instagram account.

It stated tickets for the November 29 premiere at the iconic Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London, are no longer available.

“We are officially sold out! You made this happen! The premiere of The Four at ODEON Luxe Leicester Square is officially sold out, and we couldn’t be more grateful,” the company said.

Akindele announced the UK premiere on her verified Instagram account, describing it as a historic moment for Nigerian cinema.

“LONDON, WE’RE COMING! History is about to be made. Funke Akindele Network and FilmOne Entertainment are proud to announce the UK premiere of THE FOUR at the iconic ODEON Luxe Leicester Square, London, on 29 November,” she wrote.

The premiere precedes the film’s nationwide cinema release in Nigeria, scheduled for December 11.
