MultiChoice lowers DStv entry price to ₦6,000, introduces all-match football package

MultiChoice Nigeria has lowered the entry price for DStv and GOtv to ₦6,000 monthly.

The company also introduced a DStv Sports package covering every Premier League and UEFA Champions League match.

The new packages will take effect on November 5, 2026.

DStv Starter will cost ₦6,000 monthly, while DStv Select will cost ₦11,000.

The DStv Sports package, priced at ₦21,000 monthly, will provide access to every Premier League and UEFA Champions League match, alongside other sporting competitions.

The entry-level package will offer selected football fixtures rather than every match.

MultiChoice is also restructuring its GOtv packages, introducing Easy, Starter, Select and Sports tiers.

The changes come as pay-TV operators face growing competition from streaming services and pressure to provide more affordable entertainment options.
