VIDEO: Osimhen, Awaziem greet before match in Turkey

Super Eagles stars Victor Osimhen and Chidozie Awaziem shared a love-up moment on Friday shortly before Galatasaray and Konyaspor clashed in the Turkish super league game.

Osimhen scored the first goal for Galatasaray in the 4-0 defeat of Konyaspor, which pays the bills of his compatriot Awaziem.

He was substituted in the 61st minute after recording five shots, three on target.

The defender, on his part, recorded two interceptions, three clearances and three recoveries, won three of his four ground duels and completed 97 per cent of his passes.

The appearance was his eighth league outing of the season, taking his playing time in the Turkish top flight to 607 minutes.

The Nigerians were seen hugging and exchanging pleasantries in the pre-match warm-up.

Though they cupped their mouths, there is little doubt they were probably asking about their families and relations back home.
