Nigerians most generous people I’ve ever met- Ghanaian You Tuber

Popular Ghana’s travel content creator and You Tuber, Efya Kimora, has described Nigerians as one of the most generous people on earth.

Kimora, who is popularly known as Efyakimoras͏, completed her second trip to Nigeria in October 2026, spanning nearly two months exploring the African giant.

Writing on her experience after visiting 24 other countries, she said Nigerians stood out, reporting she benefitted immensely from their generosity.

She claimed that Nigerians, impressed she was exploring their country, donated close to N1m to support her expenditure despite not meeting her physically.

According to her: ‘’Nigerians home and abroad who had never met me personally supported my journey simply because I was exploring their country.

‘’I received ₦860,000 (approximately $620) in cash donations, plus another $200 cash.’’

She said strangers also accommodated her for free while in Nigerian cities to demonstrate the hospitality of Nigerians to visitors.

‘’Strangers covered my whole accommodation in Port Harcourt and Aba, while I spent over two weeks in Lagos without paying for accommodation. Some Friends I met along the way also supported my daily expenses.’’

She added: ‘’Do you know what this meant to me? I travelled through Nigeria without spending a day worrying about running out of money, getting stranded or having to end the trip because of financial challenges. That kind of support is something I will never take for granted.’’

The content creator said she would never forget the generosity of Nigerians, saying the country wowed her in unimaginable ways.

‘’Nigeria, you showed me a level of love I will never forget. This is the Africa I want the world to see: generous people, genuine connections, and a continent that welcomes its own.

‘’Special appreciation to all the hotels, apartments, and individual sponsors who made this journey possible,’’ the content creator stressed.
